West Valley City Devastated by Playoff Elimination Saturday, August 30th , 2042 The West Valley City Grizzlies may feel they were as good as the playoff teams this year, but the club has ultimately fallen short of qualifying and will watch the postseason from the sidelines. "It's frustrating because we really feel like we could have given any of the teams a run for their money," said first baseman Wes Piper. West Valley City last appeared in the postseason in 2030. This is their 12th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 23 times in their 36-year history. |
