Akron Ambers Clinch Spot in Postseason Sunday, August 24th , 2042 The Akron Ambers celebration was a bit downplayed today, as the team officially secured a playoff spot. Reliever Raúl Gómez said his club expected to have got to the playoffs and thus, it's not as exciting as it will be when the team wins the Appalachian Mountain League Central or advances to the Ambassador's Cup. The Ambers record currently sits at 78-55 and they will be vying for the 2nd Global Baseball Brotherhood championship in franchise history. |
