Yasuda Shuts Out Shizuoka Wednesday, August 20th , 2042 In a seemingly effortless performance, Kunisada Yasuda of the Chandler Waxers shot down the Shizuoka Anguirus, 5-0, on 2 hits. "Kunisada was just locating so well and using his pitches," Chandler manager Pat Holman said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Yasuda recorded 8 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Shizuoka manager Ward Davis said in postgame comments to BNN.
