Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Wednesday, August 6th , 2042 After an intense confrontation, both the Locomotives Louie Hackman and the Ambers Katsuhiko Hashimoto were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Leeds-Akron game. Louie Hackman will miss 4 games, while Katsuhiko Hashimoto was suspended for 8 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Louie Hackman commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." So far this year, Hackman has hit .265 with 13 home runs, 52 RBIs and 65 runs scored. So far this season, Hashimoto has put up these stats: 39 relief appearances, 1 save, 54.2 IP, 72 strikeouts, and 2.80 ERA.
