Un-four-gettable: Hubbard Hits for Cycle Wednesday, July 23rd , 2042 Some days everything just falls in place. It all came together for Robert Hubbard and the Thornton Sun Dogs at Sun Dog Field. The Sun Dogs went home winners and the second baseman had a 5-for-6 day that included the cycle, a baseball rarity. "He sure was a wrecking ball today," said Thornton manager Mark Richardson following his club's 18-2 taming of the Namuko Puckmen. Robert Hubbard doubled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, tripled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Rubén López in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
