Roberson Bashes 5 Base Hits Thursday, July 17th , 2042 It was a sensational day at the plate for Kent Roberson as he led the charge to a nifty 12-11 win over the Ambers. The Eindhoven third baseman was pure misery for the Akron pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Roberson put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Ramón Rodríguez, manager for the Ambers, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Kent Roberson tripled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Alonso Rosa in the 8th and tripled in the 9th.
