Maccley and Krijger Fight, Suspended 5 Games Friday, June 6th , 2042 Chesapeake Bay and Joplin team officials have been notified by the league office that the Oysters Bert Maccley and the Red Racers Maaik Krijger will be suspended 5 games each for their altercation in yesterday's game at Red Racers Ballpark. They were the two main combatants in the bench-clearing brawl. Maccley is hitting .257 in 2042 with 11 RBIs and 3 home runs. Krijger has made 2 starts, tossed 44.1 innings, struck out 36 batters and walked 25. His record is 0-2 with a 9.74 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .315 batting average. |
