Year Ends for Richie Kamphuis in Sioux Falls Tuesday, June 3rd , 2042
The season is apparently over for Richie Kamphuis. The Sioux Falls Lakota medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 4-5 months with shoulder inflammation. Kamphuis was hurt in the game against Racine while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season.
Kamphuis has taken the mound for 7 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 0-0 record with a 4.11 ERA. The Sioux Falls reliever has limited opposing batters to a .267 batting average.
