Fayetteville's García AML Star of the Week Monday, May 27th , 2041 Pancho García is respected by most Fayetteville Braggarts fans for his no-frills style of play. The 30-year-old right fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Appalachian Mountain League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .562 average (9-for-16) with 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored. In 45 games this season, García has compiled a .293 batting average with 49 hits and 15 home runs. He has also scored 32 times and knocked in 34 runs. |
