Scottish's Castanieda Reaches 2500 Hits Wednesday, May 14th , 2042 It was a banner day for Lorenzo Castanieda, who collected his 2500th hit in the Scottish 10-3 win over Havana. Castanieda went 1-for-4 in the game as both Claymores and Leones fans cheered Castanieda when he reached base after his hit. "It feels great to get #2500," Castanieda said afterward, "especially since we won the game." For his career, Castanieda is hitting .301 with 59 homers, 596 RBIs and 2500 hits.
