Extra innings were needed to determine a winner at The Castle.

Gloucester starter Richard Cervantes pitched well against the Scottish Claymores at The Castle. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3, in 12 innings. Gloucester reliever Halmar Reus picked up the win. Sen Fukuda took the loss for Scottish.

Gloucester used a timely hit from Robert Gökalp to get the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 12th inning to put the Fishermen ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"Exciting game to play in," said Gökalp. "Getting the win makes it even better."

With the win over Scottish, the Fishermen improved to 22-34.
