The Sitka Capitals racked up a win at Capitals Park, bumping off the Kenai Traders, 3-2. Bryan Ingram, who started for Sitka, pitched effectively for his team. The Traders fall to 6-8 and continue to sputter in the early going.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Sitka catcher César Meléndez, facing Jorge Arroyo, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Capitals the 3-2 win.

"The crowd was raucous," said Ingram.
