Gunslingers Turn Away Eleven, 2-0
|
Donald Greene was nothing short of phenomenal for the Dawson City Gunslingers. The 22-year-old left-hander was a big reason his team beat the Cold Bay Eleven, 2-0. Elliott Chandler closed the game out for Dawson City, earning his 4th save. Dawson City goes to 6-3 with the win.
Dawson City took a 2-0 lead on Chin-yau Su's 1st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Su hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Cold Bay pitcher Jou Munkata visibly frustrated.
Said Cold Bay manager John Robertson: "You just have to tip your cap sometimes."
