Arctic Blast Rally to Eke Out Win
The Barrow Arctic Blast handed the Cold Bay Eleven a 4-3 defeat in 10 innings at Thunderclouds Ballpark. Catcher Pedro Castro starred for Barrow. He was 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. The win went to Carlos Arroyo in relief, making him now 1-0. Ángel Sandoval took the loss for Cold Bay. The Arctic Blast, now 2-0, have hit the ground running this season.

Castro had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a first pitch fastball from Ángel Sandoval, he banged a solo home run to center, giving the Arctic Blast a 4-3 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Castro.

"The key is not trying to do too much," said Castro.
