Scottish and San Juan put this game in the books despite some rain.
The Scottish Claymores picked up a win at PRTC Stadium, defeating the San Juan Coqui, 3-1. Starting pitcher Naoaki Morita was an essential part of his team's success. In 6 innings, Morita surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. Keiji Honda picked up the save, his 9th.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Scott Zimmerman? The Scottish designated hitter had a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Claymores on top, 2-0. For the game, Zimmerman had 2 doubles and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
