In Extras, Reins Beat Las Brujas Malvadas
The Calexico Reins and Ensenada Las Brujas Malvadas obliged fans looking for a good time.

The Ensenada Las Brujas Malvadas got a sterling performance from pitcher Enrique Muñóz, but the Calexico Reins still prevailed, 5-4. Muñóz came in in relief and pitched to 17 batters. The winner in relief was Aidan MacClacher. He is now 2-0. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings.

The game-ending blow was delivered by Heinrich Wesselingh in the bottom of the 24th. That's when he hit a solo home run off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Jara Kahiga to win it for Calexico and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Calexico field general Joe Buchanan.

The third-place Reins lifted their record to 30-32.
