Coqui Notch 7-4 Win Versus Claymores
Zinedine Cozens made an impact in the 7-4 San Juan win over Scottish. Cozens, who is a two-time All-Star, was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times. Soseki Yokoyama earned save number 7 this season. The second-place Coqui now have a record of 23-18.

San Juan used a clutch at-bat from Gerald Contaldo to capture the win. The shortstop hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Coqui ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

Contaldo told a San Juan Gazette reporter that he was "very happy" with the win.
