Due in large part to third baseman Desmond Greenwood, the Mexicali Shmoes sunk the El Cajon Virus, 4-3. Greenwood went 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk. Jelle Middehof locked down his 11th save. The 'W' lifts Mexicali's record to 18-11.

Enrique Guillén helped out the Mexicali cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the pinch hitter went 1 for 1.
