Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Monjas del Vuelo
The Rosarito Monjas del Vuelo weathered a fine game by Takaoka third baseman Yugoro Tanaka to upend the Shiko, 6-5, at Ballpark of Rosarito. Tanaka hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Rosarito has a mark of 12-10 after the win.

The Monjas del Vuelo were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth inning, when 22-year old center fielder Nicholas Murdock landed a big blow. He turned a 1-2 changeup from Tokutomi Okumura into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent the Ballpark of Rosarito denizens into a frenzy and sent the Monjas del Vuelo home with a thrilling 6-5 win.

"This place was rockin'," said Murdock.
