No one was more impactful than Anzai Tanaka in the 6-0 Bismarck win over Portsmouth. Tanaka went 4-4 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Kenji Yokota closed it out for Bismarck, earning his 25th save. The second-place Dockhands have dropped 4 straight games.

Bismarck got a big at-bat from Sapporo, Japan native Yorikane Gato, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a run-scoring double. It was his 10th double of the season and put the Battleships ahead, 2-0.
