The Cheyenne Frontier had to overcome a good performance from Alexandria pitcher Emmitt Miron to claim a 3-0 win at Frontier Ballpark. Miron went 6.1 innings and allowed no runs. Vicente Rivas collected save number 5. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Frontier.

Cheyenne took a 2-0 lead on Alistair Wigley's 9th triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which Wigley hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Alexandria pitcher Kazuyoshi Masuda visibly frustrated.

"We haven't been playing to the level we want to play," said Alexandria manager Chi-ming Xian.
