Tornadoes shortstop Yeong-seon Yi left his mark on his team's 9-4 win over the Kingston Suns. Yi, who is tied for 10th in the AWL in extra base hits with 39, went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 3 walks, while scoring 4 times for Drumright in the contest. The win was credited to 21-year old right-handed pitcher Alberto Moreno in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Pedro Martínez took the loss.

Drumright used a clutch at-bat from Jon Hancock to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the first inning to put the Tornadoes ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
