The rain came, as predicted, but the Drumright Tornadoes and Nassau Vulcans were able to complete their ballgame.

Drumright picked up a win at Vulcan Field, bumping off the Nassau Vulcans, 11-0. Pitcher Evan Gould was a major reason the Tornadoes emerged victorious. Drumright now sports a record of 63-44.

Gould, the winning pitcher, goes to 11-4 on the season. In 8.1 innings, the right-hander limited the opposition to no runs on 4 hits, while recording 11 punchouts. Gould and the Tornadoes were able to cruise to victory.

"Evan was in attack mode," said Drumright manager Niccolo Arcimboldo.
