Wooten, Twin Titans Wallop Suns, 10-2
|
The 10-2 Jackson Hole win over Kingston was due largely to Jerome Wooten. The Twin Titans first baseman went 4 for 4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Ron Groulx collected his 2nd save. At 58-41, the Twin Titans are currently 4th in the Amber Waves League Big Sky.
Early in the game, catcher Gerry Embling had a bases-clearing double for Jackson Hole. It was his 10th double of the season and put the Twin Titans on top, 3-0.
"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Wooten.
