Frye, Dockhands March to 8-1 Victory
The Portsmouth Dockhands licked the Cheyenne Frontier, 8-1. Todd Frye deserved a big chunk of the credit. The center fielder was 2-2 with a home run and 3 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Dockhands. Luke Jones earned the win. José Cabrera took the loss for Cheyenne. The Dockhands go to 37-63 with the win.

Portsmouth used a well-timed hit by Javier Torres to capture the win. The third baseman socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the third inning to put the Dockhands ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"See ball, hit ball. When I think too much, that's when I get in trouble," Frye told the Portsmouth Today.
