Korsel Hits 2 home runs in Claymores Win
The Scottish Claymores dealt the New Orleans Trendsetters a 5-1 loss at New Frontier Park. Marco Korsel, who is tied for 10th in the IL with a .528 slugging percentage, was the star on offense. He went 4-5 with 2 home runs and a double. The win makes Scottish 23-14.

Yoshii Inoue had a big 2-run home run for the Claymores in the top of the second inning. With Scottish leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a slider from 31-year old left-handed pitcher Alfredo Vargas and swatted a home run to center. It was his 3rd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Claymores ahead, 3-0.

Korsel attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
