The Nassau Vulcans pinned a convincing loss on the Kingston Suns, 10-1, at Jamaica National Baseball Park. Yataro Otsuka was a main factor in the win. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for Nassau. With the win, the Vulcans improved to 54-41.

With the game tied, 1-1, in the top of the fifth, Otsuka had a key at-bat for Nassau. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Otsuka hit a run-scoring single off Santiago Martínez, making the score 2-1, Vulcans.

"We hit the ball on the barrel," said Nassau manager Bennett Dean.
