3-1 Loss to Scholars Extends Kingston Losing Streak
The Utrecht Scholars used a great performance from Ronald O'Day, who is tied for 6th in the AWL in complete games with 1, to beat the Kingston Suns, 3-1, at Utrecht Park. The Scholars have now reeled off 6 straight wins.

The Scholars got a big at-bat from right fielder Jim Briggs. For the game, Briggs was 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 3rd double of the season gave Utrecht a 2-0 lead.

"Been a rough stretch for us," said Kingston manager Edward Cooley.
