The Alexandria Macedonians defeated the Kingston Suns, 5-2. Third Baseman Tsuramatsu Kichida deserved a large share of the credit. Kichida went 1 for 1 with a home run and 3 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Macedonians. Sojuro Takahashi earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. He upped his record to 2-1. With the win, the Macedonians are 14-52.

Kichida had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a full count curveball from Domingo Méndez, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Macedonians a 5-2 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Kichida.

Alexandria manager Chi-ming Xian said his team played a "no nonsense" game.
