Suns Bang Out 10-6 Win Versus Rapid City
The Rapid City Rushmores and Kingston Suns left the fans buzzing.

The Kingston Suns beat the Rapid City Rushmores, 10-6, at Jamaica National Baseball Park. Robun Hatsutori starred for Kingston. He was 2 for 3 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times. Alfredo Corona closed it out for his 1st save.

The Rushmores had been locked in a 4-4 tie with the Suns going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 21-year old left fielder Richard Flores came to the plate. Flores hit a 2-run double on a 1-1 forkball from Rapid City hurler Phil Hannay. It was Flores's 1st double of the year.

Hatsutori said, "Whether you hit the ball hard, you walk, you have a long at-bat, 10 or 12 pitches, or you hit a homer, you're just trying to do anything you can do to help the team win."

Today's win puts Kingston at 21-38, while Rapid City falls to 33-26.
