Wet weather did not postpone the Drumright-Nampa ballgame.

The Drumright Tornadoes outlasted Adrie Lemmens and the Nampa Moccasins, 9-7. Lemmens was impressive in the loss. The Nampa designated hitter was 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Picking up the win was Bi-jun Zhen. He went 6 innings, allowing 5 runs on 7 hits. The right--hander struck out 5 and walked 2. Picking up the save was 21-year old left-handed pitcher Ryunosuke Matsuura.

Drumright used a well-timed hit by Chun-yeong Kwon to capture the win. The center fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Tornadoes ahead, 6-3. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"I felt good up there," said Kwon. "I saw the ball well."

The 4th-place Tornadoes improved to 36-23.
