The Birmingham Bears wiggled past the Drumright Tornadoes, 4-3, in 12 innings at Ballpark of Birmingham. The win was highlighted by the performance of Birmingham pitcher Wendell Haggers. The setback makes Drumright 31-21.
The decisive blow was delivered by Andre Segaar in the bottom of the 12th when he hit a 2-run double off 23-year old right-handed pitcher Ming-feng Tsang to win the game for Birmingham. The home crowd went nuts.
"I try to not think too much," said Haggers.
