Victory Over Moccasins Takes Nassau to 29-18
Nampa got a terrific game from left fielder Harry Truswell. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Nassau, 5-4. Truswell was 4-4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs. Patrick Riddle was the winner. He's now 1-0. The loser was 23-year old right-handed pitcher Jing Zhang. Nassau, at 29-18, is 4 games up in the Amber Waves League Intercontinental.

Nassau used the clutch hitting of Gerard Ailen to snag the win. The center fielder drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Vulcans ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

Nassau manager Bennett Dean commended his team for "banging out a nice win."
