Pearson Lifts Rushmores to 15-7 Win
Kevin Pearson added some punch to the Rapid City offense, helping them outmuscle the Drumright Tornadoes, 15-7. In the game, Pearson, who is tied for 2nd in the AWL in hits with 57, went 4 for 5 with a triple, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. With the win, the Rushmores improved to 23-20.

Marshall Harper hit a grand slam home run off Evan Gould in the bottom of the first, which put the Rushmores ahead, 4-0. In addition to the homer, Harper had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Gregory Arnold said.
