|
The Bismarck Battleships topped the Nampa Moccasins, 4-0, with right fielder Ray Lamb playing a big role. Lamb went 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Battleships in the win. With the win, the Battleships sit at 28-12.
With Bismarck leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Lamb hit a changeup from Robert Hodge for a 2-run home run. It was his 13th home run of the season and put the Battleships ahead, 4-0.
Lamb attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
