Fort Wayne Park was the site for Amber Waves League action featuring the Fort Wayne Pioneers and Bismarck Battleships.

The Bismarck Battleships knocked off the Fort Wayne Pioneers, 9-4, at Fort Wayne Park. Ray Lamb was a big reason Bismarck won. The right fielder hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 6. Lorenzo Rodríguez, who went 6 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 1 run on 3 hits, while walking 5 and striking out 6. His record now stands at 2-1.

Lamb contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Bismarck in the top of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Lamb took a slider from James Chaundy and stroked the home run to left. His 8th home run of the season allowed the Battleships to leap in front, 3-1.
