2-1 Loss Extends Kingston Losing Streak

The Kingston Suns wasted an inspired, 7.2-inning effort from starter Domingo Méndez, falling, 2-1, to the Middle Bass Vintners at Jamaica National Baseball Park. The winner in relief was David Milbank. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.2 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. António Reyna earned the save for Middle Bass, his 6th of the year.
Bruno Eckstein had a direct impact on the outcome. Eckstein contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the first inning to put Middle Bass up, 2-0.
