Bruno Impresses as Rushmores Knock Off Pioneers, 6-0
Fort Wayne had no answer for 21-year old left-handed pitcher Jesús Bruno. The Rapid City Rushmores starter stymied Pioneers hitters, helping the Rushmores cruise to victory, 6-0. The win lifts Rapid City to a record of 5-6.

It was an impressive outing from the soft-spoken Bruno, who tallied 8 strikeouts in 7 innings and allowed only 3 hits. Bruno, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2039 draft, raised his record to 1-1 on the year with 15 strikeouts.

"Jesús did a tremendous job," said Rapid City manager Gregory Arnold.
