The London Underground and Scottish Claymores played a tight game with the hosts claiming a hard-fought win.

London starter José Hernández pitched well against the Scottish Claymores at Pearson Metropolitan Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 3-2. Hernández, now 3-0, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs. Pedro Escalante picked up the save, his 1st.

The Underground got a big at-bat from center fielder Kiyohira Sakamoto. For the game, Sakamoto went 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave London a 3-0 lead.
