Macedonians Ballpark was the site for Amber Waves League action featuring the Alexandria Macedonians and Bismarck Battleships.
Led by George Isted, the Bismarck Battleships downed the Alexandria Macedonians, 10-0. Isted went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for the Battleships. Pedro Álvarez got the win, improving to 1-1. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 5 hits and no runs, while striking out 4 and walking 3.
Bismarck used the bat of Ye-qing Loh to get the win. The catcher spanked a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Battleships ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it altered the outcome.
"We can't expect to win," said Alexandria manager Chi-ming Xian, "when we play like that."
The win puts Bismarck at 4-2.
