Ko Stars in 7-4 Win for Nassau
The Nassau Vulcans beat the Kingston Suns, 7-4, at Jamaica National Baseball Park. Hyo-chin Ko starred for Nassau. He went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. The winning pitcher was Mark Thompson. He's now 1-0. He went 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 7 hits for the Vulcans. Jorge Mata earned the save for Nassau.

Nassau grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Ko hit a grand slam home run off Pedro Martínez. His 2nd home run of the season put the Vulcans out in front, 5-4.

"Solid performance from our side," said Vulcans manager Bennett Dean.

The loss drops Kingston to 1-2.
