Grizzlies Earn Late Win
Starting pitcher Andy Díaz pitched well enough to help the West Valley City Grizzlies beat the Iowa City Kingpins, 4-3. Jorge Cantú picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 5-3. Bobby Brown was tagged with the loss. The win makes West Valley City 30-24.

Maximiliano Albino was the walk-off hero for West Valley City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Grizzlies first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place went bonkers at the end," Albino said.
