A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Sioux Falls Lakota and Kyoto Rodan.

Pedro Arreola pitched a gem to lead Sioux Falls to victory over the Kyoto Rodan, 2-1. Arthur Cogan finished to wrap up his 8th save.

Je-ju Kim aided the Sioux Falls cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the second baseman drew 2 walks.

"Pedro was locating, throwing all of his pitches," said Sioux Falls manager Jorge Garza. "He did a heck of a job."

With the win over Kyoto, the Lakota improved to 17-21.
