The Glendale Skyelanders picked up a win at Ballpark of Chandler, downing the Chandler Waxers, 5-1. On the mound for Glendale was left-hander Patrício Zeta, who played a pivotal role in the win. Zeta, now 4-2, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 2, walking 4, and allowing 1 run. Glendale is now 18-20.

Ángel Martínez helped out the Glendale cause in the top of the second inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the center fielder went 2 for 5 with 2 doubles.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Martínez told the Glendale Chronicle.
