Sun Dogs Win in Glorious Fashion, 5-4
The Thornton Sun Dogs topped the Chandler Waxers, 5-4, in Rocky Mountain League action at Sun Dog Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Thornton pitcher Henry Cluett. Thornton reliever Vince Rayner got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Ramón Sánchez was tagged with the loss. At 21-13, the Sun Dogs are currently first in the Rocky Mountain League West.

Won-ho Pak was the walk-off hero for Thornton. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Sun Dogs left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Pak.
