Lakota Ballpark hosted a real pitchers' duel.
Sioux Falls pitcher Masujiro Ohayashi gave the Puckmen all they could handle, but in the end, Namuko left Lakota Ballpark with a win, 2-0. Ohayashi allowed no runs on 1 hit over 7 innings. The Lakota drop to 11-13 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2042 season.
Namuko used a timely hit from Daniel Chacón to get the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Puckmen ahead, 1-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.
"We did a lot of really good things and it was a good win," said Puckmen manager Jerome Browning.
