Lakers Secure 5-2 Win

The home crowd had a good time watching the Sioux Falls Lakota and Racine Lakers get after it.
Racine pitcher Melchior Lohse did his part in helping his team beat the Sioux Falls Lakota, 5-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Picking up the save was Kevin Brickey, his 5th.
Miguel Bernal, who is tied for 6th in the RML in RBI with 12, helped out the Racine cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the left fielder drew 1 walk in 4 trips to the plate.
Bernal told a Racine Chronicle reporter that he was "very pleased" with the win.
The win gives Racine a record of 11-5.
