Lakota Spoil Great Performance by Hamilton
|
The Sioux Falls Lakota withstood a fine game by Henderson right fielder Eugene Hamilton at Ballpark of Henderson, to upend the Fighting Scotts, 11-7. Hamilton went 3-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. At 10-3, the 2042 Lakota have been excellent so far.
Qi-chen Zhào had a key at-bat with two out in the top of the fifth for Sioux Falls. With the bases loaded and the Lakota leading 8-6, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"When there are games to be won, you win them," said Sioux Falls manager Jorge Garza.
