Ray O'Neal helped his team muscle past the Lincoln Emancipation, 6-2. In the game, the Kyoto left fielder was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The Emancipation drop to 4-6 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2042 season.
Mark Ash had a big 2-run double for the Rodan in the bottom of the first inning. With Kyoto leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a cutter from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Gary Ross and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rodan ahead, 4-0.
O'Neal said afterward that "winning is the goal."
