Chesapeake Bay Rallies to 3-2 Win
|
Starting pitcher Naganori Rin took care of business, helping the Chesapeake Bay Oysters stifle the Akron Ambers, 3-2. Greg Miller earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record is now 6-1. The second-place Oysters now have a record of 76-59.
Fernando Elizondo went 1-3 against the Ambers. With the game tied in the top of the ninth inning, he hit a sacrifice fly that put Chesapeake Bay in front, 3-2.
"It never gets old," said Elizondo. "Winning, that is."
